Just a heads up that I've had an email, that seems at first sight to be reasonably genuine from PayPal, asking me to 'activate' my account. However, it's from PayPall not PayPal and the link seems to be to some Eastern European website. I'd hate for anyone to lose their hard-earned money by being taken in by these scammers

    Yikes!

One rule I tend to stick to - never click on any links in any email.
Always type the address out by hand.

Hey guys is there a limit to dashboard surveys?

    Its spoof@paypal.com

I just got an email survey for 2 x 90. Answered it for 20 minutes, got to 80% then you guessed it - it chucked me out for no apparent reason after I'd given quite a bit of personal information about my use of breast pumps of all things. Not pleased :( Really sick of them abusing us like this

USA members get Amazon as part of their shop and earn (6sb per dollar)

UK rep reply = yes, but then they don't have the same giftcard sales we are having. focus on the positives...

which then changes to = because we hit certain targets with amazon, due to there being so many members there, that amazon are prepared to trial it there. they are not prepared to do so here at the moment..

That's interesting Cally - I think we're in a bit of a Catch 22 situation here in the UK - we don't have enough offers, incentives, surveys etc to get more members earning and because there aren't enough members, businesses are reluctant to invest in Swagbucks UK. Protege needs to invest a lot of time, money and effort into getting more members in the UK (there must be thousands if not millions of potential members), but they're only going to do that by making it much more worthwhile. A start would be to give us radio and mobile app (if InstaGC can do it with the radio, then I don't see why Swagbucks can't do it). I doubt that things will ever change, though

Edit - I see that people here have been getting newsletters about the Amazon shop and earn which is even more annoying when it's only for US
    Swagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610
    Neobux - joined 15th April 2013 - Earned 2013 $695 PayPal
    2014 - Swagbucks £75 Neobux $102 Clixsense $67
    2014 goal £180/600
  • I think I have the solution to my video problem, which might help someone else but is so obscure it probably won't...

I had removed GFK Internet monitor from my browser, but it was still installed on my system. A full uninstall of the program from Control Panel and I now seem to have videos and ads on SBTV (less great, but I did think it was strange they had also disappeared...!)

Wonder if this was also stopping surveys crediting? There's only one way to find out - FIIII... wait, no, that's not it! :rotfl:
