swagbucks are just going to end up alienating members and make them stop using the site if they keep dishing out goals of 250+
those goals over 430, 440, 480, there's just absolutely no *** need for whatsoever
mine for today are 30 then 90 and im only going for the 30 one0 -

Agreed Paulshorse. Remember the good ole' days of 50/60 maximum for a weekend target?!MidnightHour wrote: »Some on facebook have targets of 480
I have no problem getting the 1st target of 90 today, but still think it's unfair some only have a target of 30 or 40.
I won't be trying for 2nd goal today which is 250, worth around £1, saturday with kids - priceless.
I do like the idea of the second daily meter, to give an extra bonus to those who want to smash the target, but don't see why the first daily goal can't be the same for everyone.
I think the real issue will be when/if there is another situation like not long ago: very few videos available, not many new offers to try, and surveys not crediting across the board.
If someone then has a daily goal of 30, and someone else has a goal of 120 (for instance) I can see there will be real issues.0 -

I totally agree Cally - I have targets of 90 and 180. I've just had a daily survey so I know I can achieve the first one. I might even get the second one if I get another survey, but I'm not going to sit all day watching SBTV because I've got other things to do. However, if someone has a second target of 400 or more they haven't got much hope of achieving that, so won't get the extra daily bonus. If they had a target like mine, then they just might be able to get it and get some bonus. It's absolutely and totally unfair. However, Swagbucks know that there are people in the US who will try to get these higher targets because they have much greater earning opportunities. What we have to remember is that trying to achieve these ridiculously high targets in return for a few additional swagbucks/pennies (20sb = 11p) is making much more in income for the Swagbucks company. It's a very clever marketing ploy. They know that if people are given a target then many will go for it - just because it's there and for a sense of achievement (I fell for it yesterday and was up until 1.30am trying to get it)Swagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610

I agree a second target is a good thing, Art, provided that it's achievable. By giving targets of 400 or more it means that people with those targets are losing out. My second target today is 180 which could be manageable, so I will get 18sb instead of 9sb. If someone is given an unachievable target of 400, then through no fault of their own they will only get 9sb bonus for the first target. It's totally unfair.
What worries me as well is that this time last year we started to see fewer and fewer surveys. I really do hope that the same thing will not happen this yearSwagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610

To be honest, I'm in the process of switching over to ClixSense
It took 7 days to earn $17 to become premium member
Then 3 days to earn $10 to cash out
Premium members get a 12% bonus on their daily earnings
Ok there isn't all the daily videos on the homepage but there's the same, if not slightly more surveys that can be done
Tasks are paid into balance, no having to wait till you've banked 200 of them
Radio loyalty can be ran constantly
Payments are on monday and friday into paypal0 -

That's another think Cally - Swagbucks say that only the US can have the radio thing (presumably because it's not 'cost effective' like the mobile app) and yet ClixSense and InstaGC both have Radio Loyalty for us in the UK. I have to ask myself if they can do it, why can't Swagbucks?Swagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610

I use Clixsense allot more nowadays too, more surveys and offers and higher paid too. I use Swagbucks for any surveys that I can do there and check for any different offers, occaisonally do a bit of sbtv but don't worry about SB Daily goals. If I reach SB Daily Goal then good,it just isn't worth spending lots of time on Swagbucks when I can spend my time more profitably on Clixsense and other sites. SB is good but the Daily Goals are getting harder to reach and more unattainable when the Daily Goals are allot higher than they used to be.
I still like Swagbucks and will continue to use it to earn a few Amazon Gift Cards throughout the year.Blogging and earning online.

I'm also with Clixsense and earn there in less number of days and am a premium member as well. Also with InstaGC but don't use much.0

Just had a look at the US Facebook page and people there are saying they've got second goal targets in excess of 500. I think we should be so grateful that our targets in the UK are only around 400 max (sorry, I hope you can hear the sarcasm)Swagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610
