I only discovered Swagbucks a couple of weeks ago, and was rather sceptical about it for a few days. But once I'd read more about it on here and learned how to make the most of what it offers, I became hooked.

Managed to hit and exceed the target for the past 10 days, which is pleasing. I even (reluctantly) installed the Toolbar (which is a PITA as it messes up some other sites) on the basis that every little helps.

Can't say I understand the awarding of SBs for searches though. I just wait till random thoughts come into my head (plenty of room there) and type them in. My latest success was 12SB for "sugar coated rhubarb"...

Welcome Ivor, hope you enjoy our thread, it is worth checking back when visiting Swagbucks as there are lots of helpful members who post things here.

I don't personally use the Toolbar and I know that some members here have had suspicious installations on their computer that have been flagged up by their Antivirus software so I would recommend removing it and running a system clear up too if you can. It isn't worth potentially damaging your computer just to make a couple of extra swagbucks a day.

On the search front, I don't seem able to get a search win yet!

Edit - 'strung out of my mind' got me 14SB and a collectors bill! 3/5 now :D

  • Anyone ever noticed when swagbucks have a promotion the search is down?

Guess they need to pay for them somehow

Maybe it is a combination of paying for that and the collectors bills? :D

Achieved the target for the second day in a row with 156/90 - need to get those AGC in for my Christmas shopping! I am so pleased SB seems to be on the up again as I had my doubts a couple of months ago.

Yes I agree! Have had £25 this month so far and I only visit SB when my husband is working shifts, sometimes for 5-10 minutes twice a day :) Sometimes more of course, but only if I have nothing better to be earning money on :)
