In special offers do you sign up to the ones such a "win £500 to spend at Tesco" ? Or do you end up with loads of spam from these ?

I set up a new email address for those - never had a problem. I also use the free sims that I get as my phone number in those fields although when I have previously put in my real number, there wasn't an increase in spammy calls.

It's up to you - if you can handle a few spammy emails a day, then use your normal email. But definitely set up another email just for those offers if not.

I use Google Mail and I barely notice spam e-mails, although the folder has thousands in at the moment because they are automatically filtered away from my view.

49/80 at the moment, not bad I guess.
