All I have to do is sell my car and i'll be debt free. I knew this back at Easter but, as posted previously, first it kept stalling and cost £72 for a sensor to sort it out. Then my mum reversed into the drivers door which put it off a few more weeks. Finally put it up for sale yesterday and got a call today. The people travelled over 50 miles and said they loved it but only offered me half the asking price. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! They new what I was asking when it was advertised so why offer me over £1500 less than that! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Ok, need to go and chill out xx

They are trying their luck. They think that if you know how far they have travelled and they show a bit of cash that you'll jump at the first offer. Well done you for not giving in.

Well, today someone phoned up and seemed really interested. They came to see it. They offered me full amount but then realised it didn't have a CD player...i'm not kidding, they didn't want it just like that! I even offered to drop the price by £100 so she could buy a cd player but she said she'd phone and let me know. Positive thinking....it will sell and I will be debt free, it will sell.....January budget

You are obviously advertising it at the right price (cd player or not!) otherwise you wouldn't get people prepared to view it.

Someone else is coming to see it tonight. I'm panicking slightly as although we have a lovely four draw filing cabinet most of our paperwork is 'filed' all over the office. Stupid I know. Seeing as some of our debt came from just not being organised there really is no excuse so i'm shredding and filing within an inch of my life tonight. If it stays still long enough it's being filed which includes children and the cat!January budget
