Moving house whilst disabled

I wonder if anyone could give me any advice.

I live alone in a shared ownership flat. I own a 35% share and took out a mortgage for that at £56000. Currently I have £27000 left on the mortgage to pay. I was always working but now cannot.

Unfortunately know I am permanently disabled and get DLA low rate moblity and medium rate care. That is a lifetime award.

I am aware these are all moving over to PIP in time.

I am also in the ESA Support Group now too and have been for some time.

Unfortunately since becoming disabled my property is unsuitable for my needs and I also need to move nearer to family members as I live alone and day to day life is very difficult.

I really don't know but if I was to look at other part rent part buy places in the town where other members of my family are, can someone advise, can I still qualify for a part rent part buy home, ie I am not now a first time buyer.

My parents do have money and also I do have an income in a sense because of regular benefits. My parents could actually guarantoor the percentage mortgage too.

Sorry really naive but if I moved and the cost was a similar amount does the part rent part buy mortgage move with you as well and because I am disabled is this actually allowable because of this.

I am aware that these schemes are generally for key workers, first time buyers and require a regular income, which in a way I do.

Can anyone advise.

Would be most grateful for any advice as it would certainly massively help my day to day living which at times is incredibly difficult now. It is a lifelong condition now too.

Thank you
