Just received a reply from a Radio Times wordfinder comp email. It's, quite simply, this:

Suspect it's spam.

I agree it reads like spam. A bit worrying if it's linked to your comp entry though. Perhaps forward it to RT? Be good to let them know if this is happening in their name.
