not much for me today just 5p roadkill...

I am selling on facebook tonight so fingers crossed. Got bargains and big savings for DS2 birthday in town but as the money saved is not actually getting banked I have decided to not count it. (It was over £100 in money off and link deals too)

I am shocked, yet sadly not surprised, to hear of the nct sale theft... everyone is skint and baby items are pricey :( I hope too much was not taken. Glad you made £100 though so well done xxx

still cannot update my signature though :( boo

So sorry to hear that willearnmore

CP Sounds awful for you, hope things improve soon xx

Good luck with the applications usa1

Mavvymoo it sounds like you make such a fantastic profit, do you buy stuff at car boot sales/charity shops and then sell? I'd love to do that, I'm going to try when I've decluttered. I'm going to have a better income touch wood from next month, but I'd like to be able to continue making a few quid above and beyond that, I think I'd enjoy the challenge.

For today I will add 66p for nectar points earned, plus £1.42 found while doing more sorting out at home. Have a few low price items ending tomorrow on eBay and have sorted some more to add.

Also sorted a bag for Cash 4 Clothes. Every little helps :) I'm at £347 now, though hit by signature problems like everyone else x

Made £100 at NCT sale today and cleared out lots of bits. But also had some stuff stolen from the table how rubbish is that when its such low prices anyway.

Well done for making £100. It is so sad when people steal stuff. I used to run a charity shop and you wouldn't believe how many people steal stuff from charities and one shop in our town even had their donation box stolen. Between the shops we set up a 'hot-line' so if we spotted any of the usual offenders were about we could warn other shops !!

No funds to add to the pot today as too busy :( but have some MS for next week:j

  • Hello all, finally made some money yesterday!

Mum was taking me to town so collected some DVDs to take to CEX, DH pulled out some games and got me £42 altogether so 10% of our target. He's helped me with a few things I need to seek too, so feeling a little better about that and hoping some Facebook groups step up.

Someone on here mentioned 'telesales' or reading to people, how do you get into that? Trying to decide between an nct sale where the money takes ages to get to you here or kids market which is v expensive but you get your own table and take profit same day.

Again, inspiring to hear your stories :)
