I'm glad it went so well for you, owetoomuch.
The ORs are like sniffer dogs - I think they can spot someone trying it on as soon as they walk through the door. All of us lot go in a bag of nerves & they know we're telling the truth because we're so scared!
The worst is definitely over with now. They'll send you a letter containing your IPA agreement, which you've got to sign & return to them within 28 days. Once they've got that, the OR will sign it. They'll then send a copy back to you showing both your signature & the OR's, & will give you details of your agent/trustee, who will contact you to make arrangements for your payments to start.
I can understand what you're saying about the £50. Before I got my IPA, I was hoping I wouldn't get one. But once I realised it was £50, I was glad as I felt I was paying back some of my debt - I was never against paying something towards it, I just couldn't pay it all when the creditors wanted it. I don't know why it matters to me, as if you can't pay it you can't, but I do feel better for knowing that I am paying something.

Kerryboo interview was due to start at 11am was sitting by the phone waiting for it to ring, didn't happen until 11.05 and lasted about 40 minutes, at one point I started crying and he just said lets take a minute and then we continued. A few times I had to answer I dont know or I cant remember but with prompting from him I was able to give answers. He was sooooo sweet.
WDIAG, yes I think he knew I was scared and I did tell him I was a nervous wreck but I was able to tell him about the various things I had done with the CCCS and on this site and I think he knew I was genuine and I also told him I would never again be looking for credit so I definitely wouldn't be going bankrupt again, I would rather sell my decrepit body on the streets than go through that again.Went BR 25th May 2007 at 12.33, OR Interview now done. BSC No 880 -
Yours can't be as decrepit as mine. What do you reckon our chances are if we offer "Buy One, Get One Free?"owetoomuch wrote: »WDIAG, yes I think he knew I was scared and I did tell him I was a nervous wreck but I was able to tell him about the various things I had done with the CCCS and on this site and I think he knew I was genuine and I also told him I would never again be looking for credit so I definitely wouldn't be going bankrupt again, I would rather sell my decrepit body on the streets than go through that again.

Haha you 2 are making me laugh!
Thanks for posting that OTM, could you just let me know if thats based on yourself or if you have any children/partner?
I thought about putting tobacco down but was advised against it, think I might put down a small amount, I don't smoke a huge amount, maybe £10 a week or so but I'm still going to put it down.
And they allowed you sky as well? Thats good Ive put that down but thought it would get disallowed.
Isn't it daft, one OR will allow one thing while another won't. It's great if you get a nice OR but what about the people who don't? the ones who get an OR who disallows everything but the essentials?
They should have proper guidelines on this methinks. xSometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0 -
I put down that is what I am paying at the moment and that OH contributes £700 a month towards household expenses again at the advice of the CCCS. The one question the OR did ask was were my expenses shared and I told him that is what I was paying for (and he would be able to see it on my bank statements). My budget was worked out with the help of the CCCS and as I said earlier THEY cut back some of the amounts I requested and I informed the OR of this when he asked about my monthly expenses, maybe that is why he didn't cut any?Went BR 25th May 2007 at 12.33, OR Interview now done. BSC No 880
