According to that, they only apply to a BR order made after Oct 1st though, so people BR before that may still have a glimmer?

Or more likely the IS will just not bother from now on.....

With a large measure of probability I am sure the latter will apply - I believe with the cuts slashing BIS they don't have the resources to do any more than what is essential

Can some explain the rationale behind this? Why on earth would you prevent someone from discharging early if they meet the terms of the bankruptcy?
