My father has kindly offered to give me some cash as gift to help me put down as deposit for a house, does any one knows the Tax implications with this?
Thanks in advance

Within the UK there is no tax on the receipient of the gift.
However, the Donor should verify the tax treatment in the country the funds are orginating from.
Hope this helps
