    1. Non working days are included in any interest calculation (credit or debit).

    and would further like to be reimbursed for charges incurred by their actions, as well as interest at the same rate as they saw fair to charge me.

    My perspective is you have absoloutely no chance on the above.


    In effect you should have paid on the 23rd, didnt pay to the 27th so charges and penalative is based on 4 days.

    Thats strange. I had email to and from that address in June. Whats the error message?

    Also had emails to and from - collections@hq.wonga.com

    IF Wonga took full payment from you twice, then the second transaction was unauthorised and regulation 61 of the Payment Services Regulations 2009 says your bank is legally obliged to refund the money and put your account back into the state it was in before the transaction occurred (i.e. no overdraft fees/charges).

    You don't need to go to Wonga, just go straight to your bank. Wonga will only refund the money they took, but the bank will refund the money and also cancel the overdraft charges.
