I cycle to work, saves me loads on petrol. Also I go running/fell running, is free.
Healthy food is sadly pretty expensive. I guess just be wise where you shop - markets etc. Also eat less meat!0 -
You are probably better off in the food shopping forum for advice on getting good food cheaply.
As for exercise - it doesn't have to cost you a thing!0 -
I mainly run and cycle for fitness, very affordable, actually.
Eating healthily doesn't have to be expensive, just need to think about stuff sensibly.0 -
For the basics of healthy food shopping, per week, is this: 7 chicken breasts 1 a day, skimmed milk and cereal in morning, eat rice with the chicken breast, have tuna salad sandwiches for tea, buy fruit for snacks.Owed out = lots. :cool:0

No, that's true...but the OP didn't say anything about not eating meat or fish...
This could turn into a very long thread
Poster 1: !!!!!!!s are a good natural source of energy and potassium".
paulineb: "Not so good if you dont eat bananas"
Poster 2: "Lentils are a good source of protein and excellent for bulking out smaller quantities of meat".
paulineb: "Not so good if you dont eat lentils"
Poster 3: "Switching from semi to skimmed milk is an effortless way of cutting out a couple of grams of fat from your diet"
paulineb: "Not so good if you dont drink milk"
And so it goes on...
I think, actually, it would be easier if we just take it as a given that if someone suggests something that isn't suitable for your particular dietary requirements you could...just...not eat/drink it?0 -
!!!!!!, why's it beeped out one instance of !!!!!!!s"?
Have they really become so synonymous with the phallus they're not allowed to be discussed on MSE any more?
ETA: Gah...it did it again. Just in case, the swear word is B-A-N-A-N-A-S.0 -
!!!!!!!s"
bananas
So you put a quote mark at the start and it's naughty, you leave the quote off and it's fine. We live and learn.0 -
The process can give you more energy. Performing some activity while the body is experiencing post exercise calorie burn can help in reducing calories. The Right Place Unfortunately, many women do not have the time to go to the gym or fitness center. It is very true for working moms. Because of that, the best idea is to train at home. However, where exactly can you train? Well, the most recommended place for effective training is in a quiet room where there is a big window that lets air through. Clean air in a great supply helps to burn calories. Training in a room where you can relax is important. Type of Training You can mix three types of workouts to maximize the effects of your training. Lift weight three times a week. Then, during your rest days, it is best that you do light cardio workouts like jogging. And if possible, always do some stretching before you start your training.0
