Hi There,
New to site and am currently ending a relationship. My partner and I live in a property. The mortgage is in his name and we have a Tennancy in Common I believe stating I pay half and if sold I'm given half and my name is an interest on the Deeds etc.
However sad to say the relationship is coming to an end.
I don't want to not pay for the bills so I am hoping to continue paying my half until sold and he will move to his parents.
Once sold I will need to register for help depending if any money left as I will also be a single parent. Am I classed as a home owner? Are there any better ways of selling the house so neither of us are living together as this is the main problem?
