Changing Email Address

Sorry if this has been covered before but, I was just wondering, if creating a new email account changed anyone's winning (or lack of) streak for the better.
I've had a rather Sahara like dry spell and I'm starting to think it's down to my email address cropping up too often. I know winners are drawn randomly and perhaps I'm trying to reason my lack of recent success against amount of comps entered.
So, have any of you tried it and did you just end up with another inbox full of daily updates and spam or did you suddenly start winning again?
