I've put things in motion. I've told my IFA I'm leaving (to give him credit, he took the trouble to phone me to chat about it and offered to help me if I got stuck in the future). I phoned up Skandia expecting to have to have a stressful phone call, but they were totally relaxed about it, and said that all I needed to do was to write to them to confirm that I wanted to remove the IFA. I'll leave it a few days to settle down, then I'll have to be brave and try to work my way through the process of switching funds around.0
