Capquest

In November 2012 I requested my credit files from Experian and found an entry from Capquest that I did not recognise. I sent them a standard CCA request letter..... which they failed to respond to. Over the last 8 months I have sent a further 6 letters requesting the information and have raised a complaint with the financial service ombudsmun. After no response to a letter sent on 12/8/13 I did a bit of an internet search and got the email address of the CEO. So I emailed her. This is the response.

Let us help you to get this sorted. It indeed sounds frustrating.
Mandy / James – please can you pick up with Claire and ensure resolution?
Many thanks

Chief Executive Officer, Capquest Group Limited.

What type of Cheif Exec signs any communication off as "H" The letter and email sent were of a very serious nature. I cannot believe this company and how they operate. This entry from Capquest is the only blip on my credit file and so far it has take 10 months to sort.
Has anyone else has the same frustrations??

What have the FOS responded to you?
Do you know what the debt relates to at all? Have capquest provided you with any information as to who the original creditor was or what the nature of the account was?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Absolutely no information at all yet. The date of birth is even wrong on the entry0

I quite like the tone of the email.
Let's hope H gets it sorted.

What chances do I have of winning if I take capquest to court to enforce Section 14 of the Data Protection Act 1998? After a few conversations with James Mcnally (the chief exec) contact has dropped off and he is no longer replying to emails.
BTW heres his email if anyone wants to complain jmcnally@capquest.co.uk0
