Cookbook for a friend

Options
I have a friend in her forties, who I know can do basic cookery and baking, nothing fancy, but who told me the other day that she doesn't have ANY cookery books. I would like to buy her one.

She likes most food, but her partner won't eat many vegetables. Healthy eating would probably be a good idea.

Any suggestions for which to buy please?

  • I would suggest the Hairy Dieters or Nadia Sawahla book.

I won a cookbook via Twitter called Food Glorious Food and it's brilliant. The recipes are so easy to follow and my first attempt at bread and butter pudding was fantastic even though I say so myself. It really has inspired me to try cooking and that's no mean feat lol

Link to the book here and a cheap price too
