I think Eve's pudding is the one with fruit at the bottom of a greased pie dish. I use apples but you can use any fruit or jam. Then make a sponge cake mix and spread over.

Cook for about 30 mins about 160c. I've cooked this in the microwave too.

My cook book is downstairs but if you want a proper recipe I'll go get it.

Not made it myself but seems to be as Maisie suspected, apples and sugar in the bottom and then standard sponge mix on top - I'm guessing that if you can make a sponge cake you can make this :)

Oooh I love Eve's pudding, my nan used to make it. Just cooking apples and golden syrup or sugar on the bottom then sponge mix on top and baked. We sometimes just used to call it apple sponge. By the way it's called Eve's pudding because Eve was the one tempted by the apple in the garden of Eden although it's lovely with other fruit too of course. (Upside down pineapple cake...yum)

I also use the bero recipe for Eve's Pudding. Sometimes I replace a quarter of the flour with cocoa, and replace the apples with cherries (lidls jar or a tin of cherry pie filling) to make a black forest baked pudding.
