I ask you all. Is this the Discount Codes 'n Vouchers board? Is this the Charities Board? No this is the Freebie (no spend required) board. We would have to spend £10 for every voucher that they want.
So their school is in the 10% most deprived area of the country? So are lots of schools. Thankfully we don’t see them here asking for donations.
The poster is an ICT Co-ordinator. What a fancy title, I’m sure some schools can’t afford an ICT Co-ordinator.
If they are so worried about their school I suggest that they put their hand in their own pocket.

Clearly you don't know what you are talking about. I am a classteacher, the same as every other classteacher but as in most schools because there is no money, teachers have to take on other responsibilities. I have to take on the co-ordinating for ICT, Music and Science at my school as well as teach as class.....oh yes...and it is for no extra money.

If you are going to start being abusive, please get the facts first. I am not asking people to go out and spend £10 but many people do get there shopping from Tesco and spend more than £10. Therefore gaining a voucher which they do not need or know the best place to send.

All those of you that have replied. Thank you very much. I am sure there are a lot of schools in my situation but hopefully they are supported by more generous people than dobbiesloan.

What a sob story.... When was I being abusive? Yes many people shop at Tesco. But according to you they are to thick to know what to do with their vouchers. All they have to do is read them. If they don't have any child relatives the can take them to their nearest school. Personally I don't care what they do with them. But what I'm trying to get across to you is that this is not the Charities board. And hopefully we won’t get all the teachers coming here with their sob stories asking for vouchers. Maybe you can get a temporary job during you two week summer holiday and use your wages to buy your school some computers.

As the wife and mum to 3 teachers who workhard enough day, evenings and weekends and holidays that last comment is offensive. They already buy pens art materials books etc and thats because they CARE.all that was being asked was that any lying about forgotten could be put to good use.Dont consider this is asking for charity.
    what a selfish attitude!

I do a reasonable amount of shopping at Tesco, and last year I was in our Local Hospital and saw a notice board and on it was an advert for Tesco Computer Vouchers for the Childrens ward, so I got together with a few neighbours (mostly all retired) and after the vouchers were finished I phoned the Childrens Ward and they were over the moon about it, so after counting up I sent to them approx 279 vouchers. They use them to teach the children when they in there for a period of time.

So what I ask is, if you have ANY (every single voucher helps) even a single one, send them through to your Childrens ward at your local hospital
