Do tiger prawns get served with the eggs?

I wonder if you can help sort an internal debate I am having.

I ate out tonight and had a pot of tiger prawns. They were served cold and about half of them were served with their eggs caught in their legs.

Personally they put me off and I really didn't like the idea of eating them and just shelled the others.

What would your views be? Rinse them through then cook or leave the eggs in and cook and serve?

I am sure Tiger Prawn eggs are a delicacy somewhere in the world - but it would put me off too. if you order Tiger Prawns then you should only get Tiger Prawns.
