Trying My Best

After running my own business for a few years and struggling along, finally took the step to close it and get back into full time paid work!! But also continuing to do some business on the side. Best thing I Have ever done

Have a relatively small mortgage of £51000 with 22 years left, have looked on here for ages and finally decided to jump into becoming mortgage free.

Our repayments are £280.00 per month which we currently overpay by £80 per month, i have increased payments to £500 per month so overpaying by £220.00. ( Knocking 15 years off my mortgage) Also set myself a target of paying £10 per day off the mortgage as well, started this yesterday by putting off the loose change when checking internet banking!! Great idea that i saw on this forum:j

Wish me luck and ill try to keep you updated

I didn't know you could convert foreign currency into UK sterling. You said $8. Where do you take it because I have a lot of loose change I would like to convert towards the effort. Thanks.
Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.
