Responding to a WEM!

WEMs can be few and far between for me so when I get one I get very excited!!! :j:j:j My replies consist of phrases like....

OMG Thank you so much! I am over the moon!....

Woooo I am thrilled! Thank you so much for choosing me as a winner! Yeah!

OMG What a wonderful surprise ! You have really made my day!

Wooo Thank you soooooooo much! I am bouncing with joy!

Yep - the companies will probably all have a giggle and think of me as a nutter - but hey ho - who cares! At least I am a happy lucky nutter! :rotfl:
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

:T I also once replied with 'If you were here right now I'd hug you!' Well - at least the companies know they have made someone's day! I would love to be a sender of good news to a prize winner - those colleagues must get a buzz from giving good news! :A

LOL, this is my usual reply.

Although when i won a biggie holiday, i didn't reply for a few days as i found it all too overwhelming and even then, i didn't know what to say - i couldn't thank them enough :rotfl:
  • Yep, mine are always a bit mental too :D When I won the short story comp with La Senza, I asked them if they could confirm my name AND the name of the winning story before I believed them :rotfl:

I normally write to them after receiving my prize as well to say thanks.

Glad it's not just me! I'm always like "Thank you so much! You have really cheered me up!" and, to be honest, most of the time they have cheered me up! I'm chronically ill so WEMs have me over the moon!

    I'm the same.

"WOW thanks so much I'm absolutely thrilled, you've cheered up my morning/day/week"

I also always finish with "Hope you have a lovely/great day/evening/weekend"
