So I just checked my Twitter today and had a DM from @FootballFanCast telling me I had won Football Tickets and a copy of FIFA14. The message asked me for a quick reply as they wanted to announce the winner. So I replied to them only to receive a message back telling me sorry we have gave the prize to somebody else.

Quite disappointing as I didn't know there was any terms that I had to reply within an hour of them messaging me. I don't sit on Twitter 24 hours a day waiting to reply to any DM's.

So I lost the prize within 2-3 hours of them originally messaging me.

Not good enough if you ask me , I would make it quite clear and public on their Twitter and Facebook page(if they have one) how they have handled this , you never know maybe them not wanting the bad publicity might force them into offering you something else which is the least you deserve.

Surely they could have announced the winner anyway?! Should give people a good day or two to reply with address etc!

To rub salt in the wound they literally just announced the winner on their Twitter 10 minutes after them telling me I had lost the prize. lol I don't get that. The whole reason for them giving them someone else they said was because they needed to announce the winner early. Maybe they will keep me in mind for a next comp aye.

Ah well the other guy they chose has had his day turn better so nice for him.

If it was just a name why not just use the Twitter username, like most comps.

Depends when the tickets are for I suppose? If they were for a match this evening/tomorrow I can understand a quick redraw.

And the guy that they have redrawn has won with them before? I'd certainly question it!! Find the T&Cs if you can, then question them, if you get nowhere, go to the ASA.

Definitely not on! I wouldn't leave it at that as the match isn't until this weekend anyway and the winner has the cheek to say it's a shame that the tickets aren't for the Liverpool/Man U match on Sunday instead! Would def name and shame if it were me
