Yes before you all point this out I have not entered into any negotiations with any of these people for a job as we all know they are spam, scam or both.

The first you may want to be aware of is

Jay Ward (The L.T.D Group) from a NTL email address

saying

'I hope you are well?

I am currently recruiting nationally on Totaljobscovering most areas of the UK,I have come across your CV which as interested me. The below link is one of myactive adverts on Totaljobs, as I'm recruiting nationally please state whenapplying which area you are based.

http://www.totaljobs.com/JobSearch/JobDetails.aspx?JobId=57158876

For more information pleaseapply on Totaljobs for the position, reply to this email
Or for an informal chatring call Jay on 0**** ******

Ihave also included this link which is a 5 minutes brief explanation of ourbusiness. http://youtu.be/Ou_qBp6Tx78

The other was from:

Iris Stirling-Duncan,Marketing Director , Global Enterprises - on a PlusNet email addresswho seems to think this is ok to run a business with.

Re:- CAREEROPPORTUNITY – UKBased.

PLEASE APPLY FORINFORMATION AS FOLLOWS:-

YourCV is of interest. We are recruiting in your area which opens up anopportunity that might be of interest to you, in which case, please requestCompany information/Profile sheet to be emailed to you to further your interestin this Company. When I suggested to the one above that a PlusNet email address and a spam email where it doesn't even state what the job was or anything about the company was not professional they tell me I am not the kind of person they want o deal with and she was going to keep my emails and alert the police if I report her to PlusNet

The first said this when I suggested they actually read my CV andprofile on Totaljobs.

He said he ONLY contacted me as I was unemployed so we are rightto think they are preying on the unemployed for this - what ever it may be.

He said 'but if I'm honest your reply as now questioned my interest inyou but thank you for pointing this out early in my search'

He then points me to this link saying - The LTD group is anabbreviation of my website www.livingthedreamuk.com,this isn't spam

Its HIS website and they are a front for some one called

'

Independent Distributor for Forever Living Products (UK) Ltd'

Just bewareeveryone as they seem to have bad attitudes if challenged on anything!

I am really sick of this since I updated the CV and will take itup with Totaljobs in the morning.

  • I've not really had this, however I did update my CV ladt week, and happened to look again on my profile on total jobs, they had helpfully made my CV public, made up a radius in which I'd be willing to travel to and put on a min and max salary I'm looking for, all of which I'd never entered (and the minimum salary was painfully low).
In the end I had to make this private as it would be doing anyone any good being there with the false info
