Best type of tariffs with PV
Options

Now that my PV is up and running I was looking to see if my current tariff is best option and wondered what people's thoughts are.
Currently with SP on their online energy saver 21 and tied in until next May unless I pay £50
Annual usage is approx 2800 kwh but ill be looking to get that down to 1500 or less with the PV
No standing charges but I pay 20.949p for the first 76kwh per month, which is what I reckon round about the amount I will only be using before it drops to 11.161p for the rest
Been looking at ebico but not sure if its best to just wait until next May?
What is everyone else on regarding tariffs?

I do wonder about economy 7.
Clearly, consumption during the day will be sharply reduced.
Detailed calculations would be needed though.0 -
I'm with E.on on Age UK Fixed 1 Year v3 but the standing charge really annoys me.
During the summer months(April-Sept) I use little or no gas.
Electricity prices are 26.42 a day S/C then 13.083p per kWh
Gas is 29.285 a day S/C then 4.180p per kWh.
I am not locked in, so I'll be looking for a better deal.
The S/C is a killer for me and any low gas PV'rs:(16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.0 -

Why not look at what effect a tiered tariff would have .... that way when you don't use gas for a quarter, you don't pay a standing charge which would probably save somewhere around £50/year at that standing charge rate.

I've been with EquiGas for 10 years. It costs 5.06p per kWh including VAT (4.81p per kWh excluding VAT). Oh,and no SC or compulsory DD grab.0 -
Tried this one https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&ved=0CEgQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ukpower.co.uk%2Fgas_electricity_suppliers%2Fscottish-power%2Ffixed-price-energy-april-2015-online-no-standing-charge&ei=YrUbUvfDOKSf0QWEwoHIAw&usg=AFQjCNGCGNmKTEVTORprcrAG2umAvzJJMw&bvm=bv.51156542,d.d2k and EquiGas
Putting my usage figures for the last 12 months 12194kWh = gas
2240kWh = electricity. Both of the above with no S/C seem to be almost the same price:(16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.0
