Wedding Rings

Hi guys

Just wanted some advice. Has anyone used "The Wedding Ring Store" online? The one based in London

I need my ring to be shaped to fit as my engagement ring is an unusual shape...these are the only people who have quoted a good price.

Anyone got any comments?

Thanks

  • I can't answer your question exactly, but my engagement ring requires a shaped wedding ring and I was fully prepared to have to have a custom one......

However I found one that is a perfect fit (and I do mean perfect!) in Fraser Hart (in all big shopping centres). It was about £500 in white gold but I opted for palladium (more hard wearing) which took it to about £800.

Might be worth looking in the 'main' shops - you never know!

Also look for local goldsmiths or jobbing jewellers, who can make a ring to your specs

  • We are using cooljoolz (I know, at first I was put off by the name..!) who advise their costs are around a third cheaper than the high street as they have no shops to maintain, they make all their business online and from wedding fayres.

Hi :) I also have a very unusual shaped wedding ring. I literally went around all the jewellery shops in my local shopping centre and in the last one I found the perfect ring that goes perfectly with my engagement ring! It's worth a try, at least :)

I found a shaped diamond set wedding band in Goldsmiths, which was fab as we were paying with Tesco clubcard deals ;) They only stocked it in white gold, but I had it specially ordered in 18ct yellow and it is beautiful.
  • I eventually found a reasonably priced independent jeweller with his own workshop. Really pleased with the result :)
