Joseph tickets

I want to buy some tickets to see Joesph at the Adelphi theatre before they all run out - but want to ensure that I am booking a show that the new star (Lee) will be in as opposed to the understudy - pending illness of course. The website shows one week in October where he will be officially on holiday - but does that mean he will be performing in every other show or are there a certain days or shows that the understudy will be performing instead? How do I find this out?

like chall said you can never be certain.
There was a big who ha when connie fisher was off ill. everyone who wanted could have their tickets reissued for the following year!
that's the problem with making a 'celebrity' out of the main character everyone expects to see them as most helped them get there. if i went (which i'm planning on doing by buying on the day in july if any spares) i would expect to see him too!!!

i would book asap for the closest dates becase there is an extremely high chance he will be playing nearly all the dates in the first couple of months.

They usually have the star on the Sat night and Fri night. Im sure noone would mind if the used the little scottish Tescos guy as the understudy.

I think that booking a Fri or Sat sounds like the safest bet - if I can do it before they run out! Thanks for the advice everyone.

Perhaps looking at when Connie Fisher isn't on would give you a clue to the likely days/shows Lee isn't playing?

    I closed my eyes
They drew back the curtain (ah-ee-ah)
And only then I knew for certain (ah-ee-ah)
    Whether Lee was on...

Sorry couldn't resist the 'poetry'.... but sadly there's no way to know and no guarantee
