Evening all,
Am catsitting this week & next, which is no the relaxing break I hoped it would be. Suspect not feeling well doesn't help  Have found I can connect to internet directly using a Ethernet cable but then I have to sit on the floor which is not comfy and can't manage for long. However any connection is better than none.
Finding the catsitting Ok but I miss my 'things' - how sillyand have to keep fighting the urge to go to the shops and buy stuff that I don't have here.

Declaring NSD #14 :j Done a few domestic chores today, incl putting some sealant round our taps which will hopefully be the last of the leaky bath bits (who knew cotton buds were also extremely effective at such a task :rotfl:) Bit of gardening too which, err, kind of led to me rather butchering a lavender bush, but it was a bit woody so needed cutting. Will see how it grows back next year else will dig it out and replace it.
Made sweet n sour tonight but after adding some extra bits into it, the sauce taste got a bit diluted. Found one of those Blue Dragon shot things in the cupboard so added that BUT it had star anise in it - I mean WHO puts that in sweet and sour?? All I could taste was the aniseed so left overs have had to be binned. Thankfully I'd already had tonight's dinner portion but it did rather scupper left overs for tomorrow and the freezer.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
