  • Happy sunny Monday

Out for dinner on Saturday but OH paid :D I treated us to coffees (and a bun obviously!) yesterday.

    Spendy day again today.

    But that's me up to 8/10 :j

Have a great day all :D

PS. I don't count any charity donations/sponsors in my spends (providing I'm not buying something in a charity shop!!!)

My aunt on one side cooks loads (there's a bit of a joke that we're in for a Jeremy Kyle episode one day, I love cooking and have long arms, my mum hates the mess of cooking and has normal sized limbs...my aunt however is the best cook in the world imo and has gangly limbs too :rotfl:). Some of my fondest memories are me and my 3 cousins fighting over the yorkie puds on xmas day. :D
Not sure her OH is that fussed about cooking but he's quite good at the consuming part :rotfl: Other pair are quite keen on foody stuff (I think). Its more that neither really need anything for their homes and I am not sure I'd know what to get them.

Was going to look for something on hol last week, unfortunately as neither couple drink, port was out (which Porto is kinda most famous for :rotfl:) and nothing else really caught my eye.

Where you off to Red? (I might send you my outstanding gift list :p_

    Hi Kerri,

If they are keen cooks, then the oil may come in handy, although there are some fantastic chilli jam/chutney recipes around also. If they don't drink, the Port would most certainly have been wasted on them:p
I am off to Portugal on Wednesday and you are welcome to send your outstanding gift list, although I will be looking for the cash to complete it;)
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

  • Good Afternoon Folks,

No NSD for me today, as I have been running around trying to get some last minute bits and pieces for the holiday. I may end up stuck on 10 NSDs for this month, but don't really care atm, as I am getting into holiday mode! I hope everyone is well and has had a good day.

I did chilly jam and boxing day chutney a few years ago. Chilli jam wasn't great tbh (a live and learn there) but the chutney was nice. Only thing was that I found out after my uncle doesn't like chutney :o

Well have a lovely time in Portugal, I can confirm it was 30 degrees this time last week. :)

Yesterday was NSD #12 :j so target met. Going to write a list now (any excuse ;)) for my HM presents and see if I can get those bits ordered so I'm not rushing about at the last min.
