  • Not an NSD for me today sadly. Direct debits gone and petrol brought, that's the least of my worries though as my mum is very poorly so she's taken priority at the moment.
Paid off my debts, saved up my cash and now I'm finally buying my own home!

Lots of people MIA is right :( Hope they're all off holidaying/sunning/enjoying themselves and life is treating them well :D

Maybe some of you peeps can help. What would I need for an xbox to connect it to the internet for streaming films/tv shows etc? Obviously a wireless adapter for starters. Anything else? I don't want to have to be paying a subscription. If I do, then I'll just sort something via my laptop instead. TIA :D

Hoping for a NSD today - will be back later to update! :)

I may be wrong but I think you need a subscription to xbox live? Don't quote me on this though! I'll ask OH although I'm sure someone else will come along and share their knowledge :)

Did you find a loaf tin? The £ shops often have them (assuming they would be good enough quality for your needs?) What about some mini soaps made with mini muffin silicone moulds, or the novelty ice cube moulds?

Thankyou :) I found one but in the end I bought it on ebay - £2.38 inc P&P. I had a look in the £ shop but no luck. In the supermarkets they're in the region of £5, and as I needed 2 I wasn't prepared to spend that much!!!! Homemade gifts were supposed to be saving me money!

Hopefully NSD today - looking good so far. Brought my lunch in today and have half a white choc orange that i got on a glitch in tesco yesterday - 1p! Someone in the office has also brought biscuits in. If anything bites my NSD chances it's snacks haha

I'm on 2 NSDs so far, yesterday would have been one too but I had to go to the hospital which means paying for parking. Grrrr!! However it was only £1.60 so it was a low spend day.

Today will definitely be a NSD. I've left my wallet at home so I can't be tempted!

Some would see that (hospital parking) as an essential spend, which would mean that you've nabbed another nsd!

Red - that is an amazing weight loss. Well done!

AnnieBox - Hope your mum gets better soon.

Still at 3 NSD's. I booked a flight yesterday and went to pick your own but in true money saving mode managed to eat a few strawberries on my way round. :money:

Today I need to top up my food shop.
  • AnnieBox: hope your mum is ok v soon.

Thanks Scuff. Kinda was thinking that but wasn't sure if there was a way around it as we wouldn't be using it for xbox stuff if you get me!?

Was planning on a NSD today but spied a punnet of fruit reduced in M&S and couldn't resist! :o Had it with yoghurt for lunch :) (had already had my sarnies on my tea break this morning!!)

Annie sorry to hear about your mum, been in the same situation with my dad recently, hope you have some good news soon.

Had to do my weekly shop today, a day early as last week my son came with me and we ended up spending a lot without getting a lot. Hopefully this will mean nsd tomorrow. :)x

NSDs 3, 4 & 5 to join up with my first two. And that's an unexpected 5 in a row.

Annie, hugs to you and your mom, hope she gets well soon.
Amber, the same to you and your dad.

Red, that's a fantastic weight loss. Very well done and keep up the good work.
