Time for a check-in.
Looking back, it's been an amazing year. I've paid off close to £11,000 which is amazing! I've cut back on some things but not all and still managed it.
Looking forward, I'm aiming to pay off more next year to reduce my total debt to below £25,000 by Xmas 2017. Still on track to pay it all by Summer 2019, but obviously hope to pay off sooner.
I'm getting closer to my dream of owning a home. If i can pay off £11,000 in one year, that means once I'm debt free I can instead save that money to build a deposit.
I'm the happiest I've felt about my debt in many years. There is still a long way to go, but I feel like I'm getting thereAiming to pay off £50,312.94 in less than 3 years - Starting from December 2015
Current debt total: £32,756.02 (as of 1st March 2018)
Date Free Date Aim: Summer 2019 (8 extra months needed)
