why not check out your local taxi service, a friend of a friend did exactly that and was alot cheaper, have a ring round, all depends on what sort of car you are after!!0

Hi good luck with the planning !!! I am a wedding photographer and i charge between 500-900 for a wedding depending on what the requirements are. I find that i am competitive in my area and bilieve me area has a LOT to do with it.
Cars can vary hugely there is a very good service in my area that charge £185 for a silver cloud RR and there are those that charge £800 for a beaten old limo. Where card are concerned it is fairly simple you go look and then compare with iothers usually about £250 is going rate for a single car.
Photographers are a whole different ball game. The normal saying of "you get what you pay for " does not always apply here you may go out and pay £1500 for a full day photographer but if you cant relate to them and vice Versa then you are not going to get comfortable at ease looking photography. What i would say is go and look around the photographers in your area let them show you thier albums but make sure they show you ENTIRE wedding albums and not just thier fave vew shoots from 20 different weddings. and make sure you like them . Dont go bargain basement on photography but likewist you dont need to go silly to get a good one.
good uck and if you need any more info then give me a shout.

Our photographer (a team of 2, actually) were £1000 5 years ago and worth every single penny. There were cheaper ones available, but they had the likeability factor so we chose them.0

Totally agree with previous poster that when choosing a photographer yes absolutely shop around and make sure you like their style and previous work, but you really need to like the photographer(s) on a personal level and feel that you'll be happy to have them buzzing around on your special day...0
