Have just had a new kitchen fitted was wondering what products people use for the following;
Stainless steel sink - tried viakal but it does not leave it very shiny
White gloss cupboard doors
Induction hob
Glass splashback
Laminate Worktops and splashback
Oven doors/stainless steel fascia
Is it worth investing in the special cloths that are available for different surfaces?

Hi,
Bar Keepers Friend is great for cleaning sinks, I'm sure all the supermarket stock it.
Every thing else, I'd just use soap and water to be honest and Zoflora if you want a spray.
I certainly would not be investing in different cloths. Well if I did then I wouldn't be posting here!0 -
I use white vinegar to clean shiny surfaces like oven doors and stainless steel. I then rub a little WD40 over the stainless steel to help prevent fingerprints etc (baby oil also works as well) WD40 isn't toxic to my understanding.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Microfibre cloths clean just about anything without any special cleaning fluids/products. They last for years, as well.

I use those microfiber cloths & Stardrops for everything! I have wooden counters, white plastic cupboards, tile floor, gas hob, stainless Steele sink.
If I need more scrub I use a scrubby sponge.
I use Zoflora afterwards if I want to disinfect anything, eg the sink.
Once in a while I fill the sink, make the plug not quite fit, add a splash of bleach and let it drain slowly... Totally agree, you don't need anything other than Stardrops and bleach for sinks etc. Bought some bathroom cleaner recently and in my opinion Stardrops does a better job with a less chemically smell.0

I've got a Method stainless steel cloth.
The 99p ones from Wilko's clean exactly the sameAutism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0 -
Inductions hobs are great, in 18 months ours has never needed anything more than wiping with a damp cloth. I wouldn't buy special cloths, but I would keep a separate soft one for your gloss cupboards as I was told something gritty in your cloth could scratch them.
My favourite cloths are the cotton ones my Mum knits for me and dirty jobs I use old flannels.0
