Hi im not sure if in posting this in the right place but I got a phone call from clear view finance today and I stupidly gave them my bank details over the phone. I'm really worried now that they will take money out of my account when I'm no longer interested anymore. Have tried to phone them but they are closed so will try again at the start of the week. Can the take money out of my account if I have signed anything? I no I have been totally stupid but they caught me off guard. Really worried they will try and take money. Please help!!

Why do you owe them?LBM.....sometime in 2013 £27,056. 10 creditors
June 20.....£7,587.....3 creditors left 72% paid
£26,200 on interest only part of mortgage (July 16)...will chip away £17,103
£49,200 repayment mortgage ( July 16) £37,7640 -
What details did you give them, account number and sort code or card details?
If the former, it's likely they'll set up a direct debit and you cancel this via internet banking, phoning your bank or visiting a branch.
If the latter, they've probably set up a continuous payment authority, which you cancel by writing to your bank with something like this:
"Dear Sir/Madam
Account name: (name)
Account number: (number)
Sort code: (sortcode)
I hereby remove my authorisation for Clear View Finance to take payments from my account in accordance with Regulation 55 of the Payment Services Regulations 2009.
I am aware that I will be entitled to a full and immediate refund by yourselves if you fail to carry out my instructions and allow this company to take any payments. This is in accordance with Regulation 61 of the Payment Services Regulations 2009.
I would be grateful if you could please respond by return confirming that this has been done."
If you're looking for a debt management plan, you should consider a debt charity like Stepchange, Payplan or Christians against Poverty. These won't charge any fees and all money you pay will go towards clearing your debt.
What will your verse be?

From their site they are a "loan finder not a lender" so if you have filled out their online form and given your bank details they will be taking their "search fee" Not sure how much but usually around £60.If they have you can request its return (in writing, not phone call or email) within 14 days and the will return it less £5 admin fee.0
