GfK Media Usage Survey - Anyone else waiting for £5 vouchers?

Hello,

I am waiting for 2 x £5 vouchers for GfK Media Usage Surveys I undertook in July.

I have e-mailed them, both on the 15th and today, the 23rd, and no-one has got my vouchers over to me.

I have used them for years and I won £2 in their latest monthly prize draw, which they sent me right away.

Just wondered if anyone else is having this problem?

They are normally pretty fast as sending out the vouchers, give it until the end of the month.

I've been waiting over 5 weeks for one of the vouchers, and I have e-mailed them twice. Looking back over the last 4 or 5 years I have done the surveys the longest I have ever waited was 18 days, that was the last time when I had to e-mail them and suddenly the voucher arrived.

I have already e-mailed them, twice, with absolutely no reply. Just hoping that someone else is having the same delay, then I know it is just a problem with them taking a bit of time :)

Yes I mean those more detailed ones, confusingly they sometimes refer to both via the same name!

I have two outstanding lots from July but have had no reply from them yet, have to hope they bother to send them.

Rather annoyingly they have invited me three times since then, but I am loathsome to do them because I've never waited this long for vouchers.

Hope your husbands turns up soon. Perhaps different staff members deal with different weeks or projects and that is the cause of the delay.

  • I have stopped using them - not out of choice, did the surveys regularly each day say 4 or 5 out of 7 giving genuine answers then suddenly the invites stopped each day and now when I try and access my account it says they no longer require me for their surveys!
I never won anything from their draw and only got 2 x £5 vouchers over 5 months from the special weekly surveys so I feel it was a real waste of my time.

I completed the £5 weekly media usage survey a couple of weeks ago. Got my email code within a few days and exchanged it and have just received an email today to say my voucher is in the post.

    Never had any delays before.

It is very unusual, I am missing payments for 2 in July, I have had the payments for 2 I have now completed in August, I am even in another one right now.

I have e-mailed them 3 times, on the two e-mail addresses I can find and I am clearly being ignored. I've trawled my e-mail to ensure that they haven't been sent, but they haven't.

I'm waiting for them to kick me off it.

99.9% of the time the radio survey is "listened to none of the above" as I tend to listen to a couple local stations, and 95% of the time the TV survey is the same "watched TV on other channels not listed" or "did not watch TV at all" as I tend to record and watch the shows the following day.

I think I have possibly found what the problem is...

They have recently changed the wording of the survey. There is now a section where you must click 'yes' to say which social media sites you have visited recently. Apparently you must state yes and answer the question in order to get through and get paid:

The next section is all about websites and content that you have viewed on-demand. Please click 'Yes' to continue (you must select 'Yes' in order to finish the survey and receive your incentive at the end of the week).

I clicked no, as I have not viewed on-demand content, it seems to still go through but I am not sure whether you must complete that section every single day to receive payment or just on the last day. Should be more clear cut and if I haven't viewed any of this content then I should be allowed to click no as this is the relevant answer.

I think I shall just give up on their shocking customer service people getting back to me about my £10 owed from last month and I just forget about this company. I've had enough of having to chase them every time just for £5!
