Selling jewellery

I have a small amount of jewellery to sell to aid my cash flow this month. I have a white gold cross pendant with small diamonds on a fine chain, diamond and emerald studs with matching pendant - no chain, a ruby and diamond dress ring gold and some child's gold sleeper earrings. Should I put them on eBay or try a cash for gold type buyer?

I obviously want to get as much for them possible. I have original receipt for cross from Beaverbrooks.

    You'll get more on eBay but it will take longer to sell.

    It might be worth going to somewhere like cash converters or a cash for gold outlet and ask for a price. Problem is they don't give you anything for precious stones. Thanks for reply.

    Either that or ask around and see if anyone you know would like to buy it?
