Happy that two original receipts can be got that easy, and thanks for letting us know. (I had thought perhaps a fuller receipt could be got if I asked for a VAT receipt? How about that one? I'm under the impression that any VAT-registered trader is obliged to supply one on request, but I'm not quite sure of the regulations in that area unless I go and check! Perhaps I should email CS and ask for one?)“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

But I've just looked at the standard T receipt I got, and it doesn't give any breakdown of the amount of VAT paid.
I know Morries ones have the details already on them for example! So the Tosco receipt I've got (the same type as everyone else) it doesn't seem to be a VAT receipt in itself!0 -

Same on my receipt - I did wonder if they would use the price promise to check the actual item but didn't want to assume so I quoted the barcode from the back of the bottle in my letter0 -
