Thanks - my own 'issue' this afternoon was that the Persil is just called "Persil" on my receipt, hoping they'd be no problem with that as I did buy the S& M Bio. I asked at CS if they could get a fuller description but they told me it was just that.

'Remind me' what the Daz offer is?;) (:rotfl:I've yet to catch up - and will probably never find it among all the numerous pages I've missed - please help! TIA.)

Happy that two original receipts can be got that easy, and thanks for letting us know. (I had thought perhaps a fuller receipt could be got if I asked for a VAT receipt? How about that one? I'm under the impression that any VAT-registered trader is obliged to supply one on request, but I'm not quite sure of the regulations in that area unless I go and check! Perhaps I should email CS and ask for one?)
I think supermarket ones are vat receipts Savvy, they display the company and vat number.

I would think not. But you know you want to get one just to see don't you?

But I've just looked at the standard T receipt I got, and it doesn't give any breakdown of the amount of VAT paid.

I know Morries ones have the details already on them for example! So the Tosco receipt I've got (the same type as everyone else) it doesn't seem to be a VAT receipt in itself!

Same on my receipt - I did wonder if they would use the price promise to check the actual item but didn't want to assume so I quoted the barcode from the back of the bottle in my letter :)
