24 packs of crisps for 24p worked :money:

Walkers 6 packs of Cheese and onion/salt and vinegar go through on a 5for£5.50 deal.

This is despite POS that says ANY 2 for £2 including a picture of 3 different varieties (variety/cheese and onion/hog roast). Pretty hard to dispute DTD when it says "ANY" and has a picture of one of your purchases Lthough she tried disputing salt and vinegar

I bought 2 of each, got charged £6.72. Dtd £5.44. That made cost £1.28

    But....

    My four packs compared

    £6.72 in T
    £5.68 in A (£1.04 PP)
    £5.70 in S (£1.02 PP)
    £6 in M (72p PP)

So include on TvA and 24 packs cost 24p, TvS and 24 packs cost 26p, TvM costs 56p

If you don't like confrontation then look for the 2 for £2 pos that has a picture of cheese and onion and just buy 4 packs ;)

  • You don't have to use all the codes in one go. However they do send out as many as poss as £20 ones so I usually do some smaller orders of £2.50 (£10) or do several of £7.50 (£30). This gives more flexibility for rounding. Eg if bill comes to £67 you can use a £10 one and write off the £3 rather than have to pay £7 in real money or lose £13 voucher value.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

When we went to Pizza Express and didn't use all of our vouchers we were emailed through the code we hadn't used to use another time. This was before the change over to Boost though. I think it means that you can't have them refunded back to clubcard points rather than that you have to use them all in one go. Someone else might know for sure though.

I think I might have to ring them.

Did you have to hand over your email with the codes on at Pizza Express?

I am thinking maybe I should have split the Boost order now.

Help please, has anyone done a clubcard order for boost tokens for restaurants lately. I have not done it since they have emailed the vouchers instead of sending them out as reward tokens for £10 each.

I just did big order for cafe rouge thinking I would be able to use over 2 visits like I have before when they used to send them but this small print is concerning me.

"Unused, expired and redeemed token codes cannot be refunded, exchanged or returned. This does not affect your statutory rights."

Will I have to use all my codes at one time from the email, I assumed it would be seperate vouchers to print out like you used to be sent.

Just changed over £32.50 for £130 worth, no way would we use them in one sitting.
It has been emailed as 6 x £20 codes and 1 x £10 all on same sheet.

Hi Tiny, my friends did this, and the codes that were used were crossed out in the email, and the remaining ones were left on the email print out to use another time.
    Hope you are well.xx

I have done the bella italia ones recently. They just score out the codes you have used. And you can use others next time.

You have to pay for any drinks and if you food for instance comes to 18.50 and they use the £20 one you dont get change.

    Hope that helps ??

Thanks do they just input the codes on their system. Do they keep or mark used codes on your email?

Ah thank you, thank goodness for that. Had ordered them for OHs birthday when there will only be 3 of us and DD1s when there will be 4 or 5. So would not have used £130 at once. Might split like chrisevanson suggested in blocks of £30 next time to get more £10 codes.

Thanks for all the help everyone. :A
