It's going to be a tough year for him but he'll get there
He's out bouncing and ranting about it now

Can't you get him to time the walk to the crossing, set aside x minutes to get across, and wait on the other side if it is a quick crossing, and then time the second bit of the journey. Then it's the same time every day! LOL got to love him, it must be difficult for him.:A0 -

Yes he knows the amount of stepsAww Im just ranting, it's not that bad and the laughs make up for it
Well after getting him into school and settled, the next big trauma will be me telling him about Santa  He's 12 next week, and for all his intelligence with certain things, it hasn't even crossed his mind that there is no Santa :o:o:o.
I worry that with him going to High school, other kids might take the pee out of him if they find out he still 'believes'. So Im going to have to tell him:o I know he will be gutted, he will most upset that he's believed something that isn't true.......Oh my goodness! Im dreading it

Nope, tried that! He's like a little machine. Leave the house, head down, count steps, don't stop until you get there at correct time
It's just another thing that he'll find a way of dealing with. He might drive me mad (or wear me out) in the processbut he'll find his own way to do it in the end
