 Im not even discussing it with him again tonight. Bless him, I do feel sorry for him. He's spent years walking to this other school and knew exactly how long it took and timed it to the second every day.
It's going to be a tough year for him but he'll get there :)

He's out bouncing and ranting about it now :o

Can't you get him to time the walk to the crossing, set aside x minutes to get across, and wait on the other side if it is a quick crossing, and then time the second bit of the journey. Then it's the same time every day! LOL got to love him, it must be difficult for him.:A

I bet he knew how many steps it was as well. I do enjoy your updates, sometimes I forget how hard it must be for you. x

Yes he knows the amount of steps :D Aww Im just ranting, it's not that bad and the laughs make up for it :)

Well after getting him into school and settled, the next big trauma will be me telling him about Santa  He's 12 next week, and for all his intelligence with certain things, it hasn't even crossed his mind that there is no Santa :o:o:o.
I worry that with him going to High school, other kids might take the pee out of him if they find out he still 'believes'. So Im going to have to tell him :o:o I know he will be gutted, he will most upset that he's believed something that isn't true.......Oh my goodness! Im dreading it :(:o

Nope, tried that! He's like a little machine. Leave the house, head down, count steps, don't stop until you get there at correct time :o

It's just another thing that he'll find a way of dealing with. He might drive me mad (or wear me out) in the process :o but he'll find his own way to do it in the end :)
