You 'steal' ;) our cheap m&s wine, then say you dont like it, well missus, you better just jolly well start liking it :p

Oh I like it, just not lots at once. 4 bottles have gone just 2 left and didn't steal that one, think lots peeps got it at the time. ;)

Anyway keep up DM it was a red I got to myself. Mr TS does not know there is still one box left hidden under the rest. :o He drunk the other 3 boxes far to quick for my liking when I was not here (at mums) to do stock control. :rotfl:

You are an :A

thanks x

Glad you mentioned it. Need to remind my daughter to apply for it again. I picked up her last HC1 form up from a local pharmacy, but I think the job centre also has them.
If you're allowed a HC2 certificate you get free prescriptions, but if you're not eligible for that you could get a HC3 certificate that helps with some of the cost(don't know how this works)

Well, hi, :xmassign::santa2::xmastree::snow_laug. According to the visit to M:rotfl:.
They have the Christmas stuff out now, those Smarties and Pastilles tubes probably at £1 everywhere and best I found was I think the Cadbury Treatsize Twirl (279g) £1 until 29/9. Looking like £2.34 A vs £1 M!:rotfl:
(£2.79 T.) I suspect, at this stage, it would return N/A as a new item awaiting approval.

Anyway... and there I was thinking not much more could go on offer. Overall there's quite a bit of change, including items whose offers were to be on for some more weeks going back up to full prices and needing to be removed from 'the list' therefore! There are new items to be added put into a lot of the 'shelves' on the list: but not the fresh soups though - there's now a multibuy on some branded items there but it doesn't attract me (2 for £2.50 when those items, some months back, have been £1 each). Not hitting my £1 trigger.

The Coca Cola etc. 2Ls are still on 3 for 2. Note the Vimto Still 500ml is back up to full price though.

Tonight's area of slight frustration: the Maggis - loads of them!
:) - now on 50p each. It's likely, if you buy them in A or T, you will be buying ones that M stocks as there are so many of them. However, the full details are to be announced (via the M list) later. Also I've found some additional Schwartz items (they're on 2 for £1).

I thought it was a very good price collection - until I noticed you've switched to some Goodfellas pizzas just to catch me out! I missed all of those out, as I wasn't envisaging their straight prices in M as being great. Instead, I did note the Oetker Ristorantes were now £2.78/any 2 for £4.00. If you need Goodfellas, you may need to go to M to find out which ones!

From the wines in T that are on 3 for 2, I found these prices for M:

Gallo Family Vineyards Summer White 75cl £4.99 (until 6/10)
Echo Falls White Zinfandel 75cl £6.49 each (I see Tvs A might be better, as £6.49 M is more expensive than the effective '3 for 2' price of T)
Barefoot Pink Moscata 75cl £6.99 M
I didn't find any Sherries to compare from T Finest Sherrries 50cl (found different sizes, different flavours etc.).
I couldn't find any of the other 3 for 2 wines in M. I think I was looking for non-existent items in M!
:)

Golden Wonder crisps 6 packs (Cheese & Onion, or Variety, or Tomato Ketchup) are back on £1 in M, but 72.5p/100g on M's straight price is way above my guide price. Even the 'normal' 66.7p/100g, found on 6 pack crisps at £1, is way too much for me. (It looks like M's may be significantly smaller bags, or else the price per unit on M's offer label is incorrect, they have compared from A before: but 10% off 66.7p/100g -
:eek::eek:.)

Indeed - quite a lot of change in the crisps areas, about half the ones from last week no longer on offer and new ones to add.

Princes 1L juices back to 75p in M. Trebor Extra Strong Mints or Soft Mints (Peppermint or Spearmint) 4 packs are £1 for Tvs M shoppers. J2Os are off. Now onto fridge packs and a specific set of flavours for a Britvic 55 in 2s.

Nature Valleys £1.50 in M. WW Original Bagels (5) 69p until 29/9 in M. Princes Pies - Minced Beef & Onion or Chicken & Mushroom or Steak & Kidney - 425g are £1 each (said to be until 29/9).

Despite having stock but no price last week, this week I found no stock left of the Savers Beans & Sausages tins (405g) but did find a SEL this time. 49p in M - looks like T is cheaper (Avs T)?

For one to avoid, and for SFSB, look at this one:
The equivalent to A's SP Chocolate Mousse. Now 51p
:eek::eek::eek: in M!:rotfl::rotfl:

Cadbury Hot Choc Puddings (2x110g) are £1 in M, which I'm rather liking as T is on full price £2 for them (so nice item towards a Tvs M shop it may appear).

Copella Juice 1.25L (Orange with Bits, Orange Smooth, Cloudy Apple) £1.35 in M until 6/10 - we need a mbuy though and then a glitch (also need the specific varieties to be sold in A and on msm).

Tropicana Kids 4x200g (Orange or Apple Splash) M £1 until 22/9 (again could have done with a mbuy offer, as 90p isn't any good for that little amount).

Magnums are now £1.25 in M until 22/9 but that's a very poor deal to be comparing against nowadays!
:D:)

I must admit I've been ignoring a BOGOF deal in M on Aunt Bessie's Classic or Chicken Gravy for many weeks - I think it was £2, buy one get one free. I don't know however, as I have been ignoring it
. Seems now to be Tvs M on the Classic version only. T £1.70. I'm glad I've been ignoring it - now 50p in M! Good if you have AB MOCs!:T

We've got Flash Kitchen, Bathroom or Degreaser Sprays (500ml) on £1 in M. That's in case there is still the £1 MOC to use. Otherwise, I'd expect at least twice that volume for that price. May be 'free' on Tvs M - so you don't need buying in two (needed for Tvs A) - other place on £1 is W (against whom T PP does not compare). I don't think (someone will correct me
;)) the Flash MOC is valid in A - if it were it could have been Avs W or M for 10p profit:money:. Cif Ultrafasts are now on msm, is there now no trigger?

I've seen some of the baby foods using a trigger vs Sainsbobs. I'm sure many of you have M results available on the other sides of those comps., but I'll have to go through the mbuy offers for M later. There are some offers on baby food in M but I suspect it's not going to beat the options you're already using.

However - notice this: Hipp Organic Combiotic Follow on Milk 500ml A 90p x2. Any 2 for £1.30 in M.

Also Dentinox Teething Gel 15g £1.34 A £1.11 M (until 29/9).

Seeing that I've now mentioned nearly every highlight item, I may as well say Nescafe 2 in 1 White or 3 in 1 White with Sugar, 3 in 1 Original Strong White or 3 in 1 Extra Smooth pouches are now technically Avs M at £1.09.

Nearly finally, on the comparisons stakes, there are some Garnier Intensives (versions TBA) on £1.99 in M - the prices were collected mainly for a glitch possibility, however it doesn't look like there is any mix and match in A to use.

There are more good items than have been mentioned (for comparison purposes) though and they'll appear later.

May as well mention Savoy Cabbage back at 50p in M (Avs M to look at 45p net). Also Swede at 50p, but not sure if it'll compare from A's weight one. There are other items at 50p in M such as M Brown Onions 800g - which may appear good in the light of Savers 1kg at 49p no longer being available it seems - however A's SP 2kg onions are 98p (so better per unit), although technically better still are some 5kg:eek::eek:
bags in T, but only if you buy two, and having to buy and spend on 10kg of onions for that 'better' price per unit!

At last - we have some decent priced fruit (back at my £1, or preferably under, trigger prices) - Savers Apple packs still 99p (although they've increased from 84p earlier in the year, they're still reasonable weight, but do check as this may vary from store to store - get them if it's about 800g). M's Gala Apples pack is £1 (although this most likely won't compare from A, but it may compare from T and you might get a bigger pack from T comparing to M's approx. 750g £1 ones - then again you could end up with an N/A and some expensive T Gala apples pack). The Sweet Pears however are no longer on £1 - perhaps they thought that would trip me up but it didn't: instead I've now bought M Rocha Pears at £1. They are in a punnet:rotfl::rotfl:
. So it's off buying Sweet Pears in packs and onto Rocha ones in punnets instead! Still seem to be around 7 pears, so not that bad, for me, for that for £1.

As mentioned earlier, school uniforms are on 'half price' in M. There are some offers on stationery as well. Much of it 'starting at 50p' (way too expensive a price for me:rotfl::rotfl:
) but, despite that, the M Eraser is still 25p:T. There are also 1000 M Staples at the same price. Other than that, best seems to be a 5 piece Savers Stationery Set - pen, pencil, eraser, sharpener and 15" ruler - although that set is at 50p (until 29/9).

Muller individuals are into their final week (offer due until 8/9) and there are now some Muller-Rice and Corner 6packs back at £1.94 in M (details to appear later). However, lots of items to catch you out - the M list as it stands on page 3 is quite out of date, for example do not buy the Ritz Crackers anymore (M £1.39 each) and there are other items back at full price too (even some that have dates beyond this week).

However, Kipling Viennese Whirls are back at 65p again
:rotfl::rotfl:- this time to take us 'until 6/10' we're told.

Okay...goodnight!!

Oh V, I can understand that you'd feel that way. Try to see it from your Dad's side if you can. Their generation have a whole different view of disabilities and benefits etc. It's the way they were brought up.

Saying that, you shouldn't lie about your situation or be ashamed if it. Honesty is always the best policy and you have nothing to be ashamed of. Your illness is what it is and you've accepted it, the most important thing. Maybe you can explain this to your Dad in the nicest possible way, of course.

Hugs :A and try not to let it get you down!

Thank you and thanks tiger.
It is strange but I understand him not telling his sisters and I don't see them as far away. The brother in respite I see him and his wife every year and it appears ok for then to know.
He is my dad and I adore him and if keeping quiet stops him getting an earbashing then I am happy to be quiet. But it could lead to bigger problems later on.
What I have found throughout my illness is that when I lived with ex husband then ex partner it was ok to be seen as a kept woman but not an ill one. Several in my step fathers family knew me throughout the years I was ill but with a partner. It only becomes unacceptable when you live along, almost as if I can be ill when with someone paying my bills but when that ended I should have suddenly been healed and gone back to work full time.iyswim.dd is the same sometimes but if she had a highflying mummy again she would not have me on the end of the phone when needed and certainly would not get the babysitting help so she can work. On the other hand she would have a mum who could afford to throw guilt money at her.
I much prefer being available when needed even if it takes me weeks to recover.

No I can't - same happened to me and my sister tonight - went to Sainsbury's for Blossom Hill & Milk Tray
, confirmed shop, came home to snap receipt & offers both gone

I had that but luckily I had already gone through to the shopping part of list so was ready to snap receipt.
I think they might stop certain offers after an allotted number have been claimed. Blossom hill had been reduced as hadmilk tray.
Till i went through the brand match machine had broken so iwent tocs and showed them the walkers were cheaper in tesco so the gave me a refund.
Luckily I also got stella cidertonight as that has disappeared too.
