No it is deducted on the lower price when wine is half price as the half price is the shelf price. If it is on 3 for 2 the lower price would be the price of 2 bottles, but the discount comes off the HIGHER price - ie. the price of all 3.

Eg.

Buy 6 'half price' £9.99 bottles which are now £4.99. 25% off comes off the total of £29.94. £7.48 wine discount. £22.46 to pay.

Buy 6 of the 3 for 2 wines at 7.99 each. 25% comes off the total BEFORE deducting the free ones, £47.94. £11.99 wine discount, £15.98 3 for 2 discount. £27.97 to pay.

Note you are getting a wine £3 more a bottle for less than £1 a bottle more.

Did a T test shop tonight on the wine, did not work out how I planned
TvA, it turned out to be TvM should have got back a £10 pp. The Isla Negras I saw in A for £4 on roll back, not sure now if T is selling this one, just check my bottles I pick up the wrong ones :( Not to worry I still got back a pp for £5.41 :j:j
25% came off the port as well , happy with that 1 xmas present sorted
