    Good afternoon all.

Looking at the wine at T on 3 for 2 and wondering if price promise includes multibuys when looking at comparisons.... I'm guessing it does. Eg if £7.99 on 3 for 2 at T the Turning Leaf Pinot is £5.99 at W but am assuming it knows that 3 cost £15.98 and not £23.97?

I seem to recall the PP is BEFORE the 25% off but as I'm not mad about a particular wine. Eg Blossom Hill White Zinfandel is £6.99 at T but £5.24 at S. The PP compares at full price even though the 25% takes it down to £5.24, so equates to £3.49 a bottle after PP?

Are my maths and my theories correct?!

*edit - on a similar vein, the Echo Falls White Zinfandel is £5.00 at Asda.... so does it work out that we get 3 for 2 or will it compare £6.69 v £5.00? If so those getting it this morning could also get a PP for £1.69 a bottle?

The Echo Falls compared as so (TASM)

    6x ECHO FALLS WHITE ZINFANDEL 75CL - £26.76 £30.00 £40.14 £38.94

Multibuy is recognised but not 25%

I just bought 6 different extra crunchy in T. Submitted cashback claim but it went through as just £4. Not £6

Offer is still showing on msl so i can do it all over again presumably. This time with 4 not 6 as that may be the limit per transaction. Didn't get a pop up warning like usual though :(

i have just done the same thing, but then remembered are you only allowed one claim per receipt?so i really should have just bought 2?really not up to speed on this yet.no tco in our extra.
just seen your edit 4 it is then.

remember............. Tesco do not compare against Waitrose

Ooops! I am writing 100 lines for being such a dimbo as I had forgotten that! Thanks for the correction!

  • Right got a thought again re the wine...

    Jacobs Creek Pinot is £7.49 T, £5.00 A

    £7.49 - 25% = £5.61, less £2.49 PP = £3.12 effective price

I'm struggling to get anything better than just buying 3 for 2 wine though.

Definitely 2 claims per receipt for extra crunchy. Buy 4 packs which can be 1 flavour or 4 flavours

This happened to me with the harpic the other day :( it was there when I went shopping, when I got back it had disappeared from my list. It was on iPad, so I don't take it with me. I didn't bother getting in touch with them about it.

I have been for pizzas yet, as I need to free up some freezer space. According to MYS, our As don't have them either although Im hoping they do. Next best option is to buy in Ts in a Vs Sainsbos shop. Not free though :(:(

Similar happened to me. I had it on my Asda list for Saturday but it was out of stock. Harpic was off my cashback list on Sunday.
I've emailed them about this and I am trying to get them to confirm this but they suggested if I pressed the list complete button on saturday then it would give me 24 hours before it would lapse so I could then have got the Harpic in another store.
What I am figuring out is if I have to start afresh each day with brand new lists or wether I can carry lists over from the previous day.

Mind you its all theory this morning, everything but crisps and pizza have gone from my cashback list and the wretched thing is hanging again whenever I try to click on something to send it to a basket.
I tried the turning Internet off and back on again which worked last time won't work now
I'm also working on the ipad
