I'm just trying to research as been told by garage they did recall on the clip as plastic and changed it for copper! But my car would have been too old. Would they not thunk to write to tell me to get it done myself, £30 instead of £1200:mad:
That's BAD. a manufacturer's fault is a fault no matter how old.:(
My Nissan has just been recalled for something to do with the steering bolt and it's a 54 plate, which I've had from new.
Garage also did a full inspection (money making exercises) while it was there) and gave her a nice wash.
Turned out headlight needed replacing.
Quoted silly money until I said -oh, I think I will take it to Halfords. Don't know how much it should cost but let them do it for the reduced price of £16, may have been a bit steep, but saved me the hassle.
So De-De (my car, they always have names) is OK for the dark.0 -
