I noticed that earlier too - though you wonder what use it will be as most of their items are own brand so won't compare (and the APG terms would need rewriting)?

Now when Ms go online later this year/early next year (using a version of the Ocado system, so system is already tried and tested on MSM) then the fun will really begin .

    Thanks Cot

That hukd deal is 12 hours old. Haven't 10ways been talking about free popcorn deal for a lot longer? (As in days!)

It was on hukd a while back but I can't find the post. Must have been expired as it's not on my comments even though I posted on there.

MSM has aldi on it now!

Woo hoo - that's really good!:T:T No longer will we be comparing between prices of major supermarkets after occasionally having forgotten that some things may be cheaper outright from outside of the majors. Just need Lidl on there too (in fact why stop there - all the 'bargain' stores too!)

I think it's very useful - for the reason I've just given above, among others. The fact they are own-brands (in the sense of those that are called "Aldi") doesn't matter - the APG includes equivalent own brands. I doubt that the APG will be extended to include Aldi and the 'deep discounters' though - perhaps because they go too low for A's liking, who knows? Instead the use is in seeing things, far more readily, cheaper in Aldi and seeing when they are cheaper outright, to buy straight in Aldi, than 10% off the cheapest major rival of A's price, or picking up occasions of being cheaper than matching a major rival's price even after an MOC.

Plus it now brings all the excellent features of being able to search and sort by price per unit etc., impossible to do in a physical store itself!:T

Of course it also has benefits for the stores and the producers - as we may well find a lot more items and identify items we didn't know about before - and end up buying them (watch that these excellent discounts and APG schemes etc. don't cause us to buy much more than what we wouldn't have needed before and still be paying to do so!:D).

Good afternoon - just to let all know, I have a bit of an 'issue', shall we say (not a 'problem' as a problem suggests something that may remain unsolved) - that one of my family members who provides a significant help to me is unwell and could be out of action for a very significant period of time, so I may be needing to do RL things more than I am at present and therefore not on here posting as much as I have or answering questions/spotting glitches etc. So if my only 'appearance' for the foreseeable is that I get to updating the lists but not posting much else or keeping up-to-date with what's going on elsewhere, you'll understand.:)

I will still be doing the lists (the M one at any rate*) but they may continue in the 'background' and just be continuing running and being updated without me posting much new postings (of the type such as this very one now). Got to do all the cooking/washing up/tidying etc. of the house in the time that I would otherwise have spent here, and it's a matter of sorting out where the priorities are in order to get everything done. I'm well capable of it, don't worry, and ensuring it doesn't go into overworking myself and causing stress! The urgency of these sorts of situations (e.g. need to feed the house) will make sure I don't just focus on these 'special interests' such as being here.

Have a good time shopping and glitching!!:):)

Oops... got to go right now!! See you at some point no doubt.

*They'll be something worked around it and ensuring that everything gets done as well.

Found it now - its Let's Subscribe. Apparently they haven't had any payments back since last November (for transactions last September) and they say they will pay up as soon as they get the money. Not looking too hopeful though is it ?
