  • Morning everyone - bright and sunny!

Was hoping to do plenty of shopping today but I have done my back in and I don't know how.

Noticed on MYS site just before it went down it had Aldi listed now.

Skimming back plenty of hugs required and Happy Birthday to the Elistists I missed. Logie hope you enjoy your well deserved break.

Yeah I just had a look, it's mainly for people that get either child tax credits or income support.

Well perky, if they are entitled you can use these to buy milk.

But you can not use it to buy stage 2 milk only stage 1 then normal milk and veg.

Also you can't use them for potatoes, or certain fruit/veg.
And only certain milk like cows milk etc.
you get a pack through with them explaining what you can/can't buy.

It is illegal to use them for anything else.

My old newsagent use to always take these off of some girl that looked about 15 for 20 fags :-\

Wonder what the heck she fed her child on...
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

As said there is support through social services, but this means that they assess you (including visiting to check cupboards) and keep everything logged. It is a great form of support for people who really need it.

The health visitor is a great source of support, they can recommend a child for 5x 2 hour nursery placement per week when the child is two. They can also access charities for things like carpets/washing machines for people who are REALLY desperate.

    :)

    Morning all!:D

Thanks for the new thread tiger!:)

    Re Healthy start...

The vouchers can be spent on:
    • plain cow’s milk – whole, semi-skimmed or skimmed. It can be pasteurised, sterilised, long life or UHT
    • plain fresh or frozen fruit and veg (fruit and vegetables with no added ingredients), whole or chopped, packaged or loose
    • infant formula milk that says it can be used from birth and is based on cow’s milk.
      HTH;)

The MSL app seems to be working again. Mine was just a blank white screen earlier. I shut the app down totally and opened it back up again and it seems to be fine now.
