Afternoon everyone
Quick question for tesco clubcard points. Does anyone know if I can put points from 3 different clubcards onto 1 virgin account?
Thanks0 -
Thought I'd join the 'new sig' brigade..:D
Oh, and cat food results due in a couple of hours.0 -
Afternoon
I love food shopping!!
Planned my shop like a military operation
Only had a few coupons to use.
Bought the two free crisps (or chips as they say! from quidco Cashback in tosco)
Used a clubcard I don't use much. Generated a till spit out of £3 off wys £20 :T (knew it would) handy that my next transaction was £20
timed it to perfection :T
Got a £3 price promise as Asda were cheaper plus went for a walk around the car park
39 pointer and £1.79 price promise blowing in the wind.
The thing is, 99% of shoppers wouldn't be able to do what we do IMO. Plan shops like the above. Even though it didn't take very long. I saved myself probably £10ish due to knowing how the system works0 -

Most people cannot be bothered, probably even to claim the voucher in As, as they assume that As have it covered (after all, why would they offer to to repay you if not 10% cheaper ... if they weren't confident that they would be 10% different! Add in the big banners about being the cheapest supermarket for 10+ years and you can see why customers wouldn't look into it.
I have tried to explain this form of shopping to family but to no avail - they point to the amount of time I spend shopping/their lack of time to shop round, limited returns etc as justification for their inaction. I have even explained it when there are glitches on and it seems like too much effort.

So true^^
Also the same for price promise and brand match. People just stick everything in one big transaction! not knowing that quite a few products are cheaper else where. And they obviously can not, not get a few on the supermarket's own offers also, cancelling out the voucher that they would have gotten
Oh wellI'm not embarrassed by how I shop. I love it
especially when the plan works perfectly
Next time I should say to the SA now that will be a £x.xx amount on the price promise in a minute0 -
