I thought I'd try and join in the theme of this thread and try and save money on groceries. I'm not really sure how it all works and it can be a bit confusing when reading the thread as it moves so fast.

This is a shopping list I have put together on the T website. How much in pp would I receive back?

Also are there coupons I could possibly use. I understand if I buy Phileas Fogg crisps I recieve money back from Quidco

Thanks for your time (and knowledge:) )

    OMG Jimmy!
    USE MYSUPERMARKET NOT TESCO!
I don't think anyone is going to do for you what you can easily do for yourself. You'll see what the cost is in ALL supermarkets on MSM. Then you have to check each item individually and also hope that Tesco price compares - they often come back with N/A.
I'll be surprised if anyone even bothers to check anything for you.
    Read 1st page for hints/tips.

On just looking at 1 item I think jimmy is probably a troll. Big discrepancy here!

Kelloggs Rice Krispies Multi-Grain Shapes Strawberry Flavour - on msm but not in offer
mini max choc - not on msm
mini max original - not on msm
    ricicles - not on msm

    Totally agree :D
Shapes are £2.68 and not in offer, the others all say n/a at A, per msm signed out and msl signed in :D

    Hello:hello:

You need to target your shop. You will have to compare the price of each product on Ts web site against A for example.

You will only get a PP if your shopping compares favourably against A. Ie in simple terms if A is cheaper.

It is time consuming at first but gets quicker as you go along.

I tend to eat "in season" ie we eat what is on offer or glitching and store food where possible.

If a product is expensive I will do without

Best advice I can give is to follow someone else's shop until you get the hang of how it all works. Read all the posts......especially mine:)....keep a notebook beside you and write down the offers you like

    Good luck

  • I really can't see a PP happening on that Jimmy_Neutron - just checked the maximuscle (why?) and that does not compare with the relevant supermarkets, you would be better getting it in Boots (unless you are doing an ocado shop?)
