Mites can cause direct damage by

Mites may also transmit fungal

Living and dead mites have been

Hubby had a really serious allergic reaction to 'Just right' cereal - we couldn't understand why as he'd already eaten nearly a boxful. He had to have an epi-pen after this. Now I'm wondering if it was the allergens produced by the mites and whether because it was near the bottom he had a real big dose. I will be checking all our cereal stash too.
It's worrying - I had NO idea - thought they were just a nuisance not that they could be really toxic
:eek::eek::eek:
I did not want to worry anyone as I always thought they were harmless but came across some similar info in less detail earlier today.
The info I found said as long you got rid of infected cereal and you hoovered crevices in cupboards and washed shelves down with soapy water that should eliminate them.
Think the new box of weetabix will have to go in the bin, as the packaging is not sealed. What a waste.
Will have get rid of box and inspect the weetabix minis over a few days.
I did read also that storage conditions in supermarkets can be ideal for them to hatch out. And to check cereal boxes you bring into the house. :eek:0 -
However, i didnt get to A. found a coupon for free regular popcorn on 10 ways :Tso hot footed it over to cinema to drop off for mum. turns out Dad got lost, despite him having a sat nav and me texting EXACT instructions earlier. So mum was utterly stressed and close to tears as dad is a road rager when lost
He used to be a taxi and lorry driver so thinks he knows best, despite me living here for 5 years and him not. He's become so cantankerous in his later years, don't know how my poor mum puts up with him.
So i told her I'll collect her and DS from the cinema in an hour. But have remembered Dad has the car seat  Arrrrgh.Tiger

Oh dear what have I started.
nerfdad, it's not what they like best, they are already in the wheat, just depends on conditions whether they hatch out before it gets eaten by you or the nerfs.
I spose that's one way of putting the little nerfs off their coco pops and making them eat toast insteadHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Ooooh that's an interesting read.
We're trying to figure out what keeps triggering mild anaphilaxis in poor DH.
Nothing's seemed obvious yet but I shall look extra closely at his cereal now :eek:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

MSL is Mysuperlist, which is Mysupermarkets version of the shopitize app. When you're on the MSM website, there's a link in the grey box (bottom right hand side) which has Download MySuperList.
I don't have a smartphone so can't give you much further info than that.Many a mickle makes a muckle.0
