Good morning:) - shouldn't be here but this is after a good night's sleep:):):j.

Did you pick up the correct New Pots with Herbs & Butter? There are two versions - the one I have always got has this green cardboard thing around it, with the use by date on that.

That one (the correct one) was £1.00, increased to £1.14 now to £1.15 (could be a GC in there now if there's an incorrect price on your shelf - though my store, just after the first price increase, avoided that by having no price at all on the SEL:rotfl:). I did see one on a comp. on here, comparing from £1.10 vs 39p though - that caused me a little bit of wonder - perhaps it was a store-specific variation in price?

Sounds ideal, hope he is a practical machine - one that can wash clothes, hoover and iron then (Sorry Dave M) he truly will be the perfect man!! :T

I do wash clothes (well, put them in the washing machine at any rate), vacuum and iron - although a bit less well in those areas - if something else functions way better than average, then something's got to give.;) But I "can" do those things, "can" in the sense of suggesting ability. I'm able to do them, albeit not all the time and sometimes with a little bit of a struggle (they still get done in time but rather late in the day).

What I need is a good woman to order me around (in a good way though, to add a bit of motivation to me but also to take some of the slack rather than, at the moment, it being all with me and then being a little less able to do things less well from exhaustion - although not happening that much, possibly because I'm going at the right pace for me and, just about, staying on top of everything). Ah well - that call by the boiler inspection man did force a bit of a tidy up, which can be no bad thing.:)

I wouldn't call myself a "practical" machine (I'm very happy with the word 'machine' BTW) but I'm doing adequate to keep on top of 'normal life'-type things (albeit more a continual falling behind and then catching up thing than having them always kept in perfect shape).

Just noticed on savvys list. That BNI sweet and sour and black bean compare v M is that right?

First, motherbear, thanks for providing the answer that I was going to post but never got round to last night.

I meant to add 'yes, the black bean was taken from someone's shopping comp. on here earlier that showed T comparing to M so I put it on my list. I think it's T widening its search more than me there, as I didn't have the exact same one in Morries*. The sweet & sour I did have in my Morries and I had the details for it - I think they were confirmed by that same comp. later'.

Right, best be off again now - see you later!:)

(*I am, of course, now thinking of this recent thing - http://www.asa.org.uk/Rulings/Adjudications/2013/7/Tesco-Stores-Ltd/SHP_ADJ_224516.aspx and the 'berry meringue'/'raspberry' situation (response, paragraph 2).)

MSL shows both comparing to T. I've stuck w the £1.10 ones cos I know they work for me.

    Morning all.

I'm typing this on my new laptop, after my old one died on me. It's lovely and light, but I'm not sure what I make of Windows 8 yet - things keep appearing on the screen and disappearing for no apparent reason! Still, I'll persevere. :)

    Have a good day everyone.
    Hope is not a strategy.
